- Drywall and demolition generate vastly more dust than a paint refresh.
- Number of passes needed
- Fine dust resettles for days; most projects need two or three passes.
- Film, labels and adhesive
- Removing protective film and residue from windows, fixtures and appliances is slow, detailed work.
- Grout haze and paint overspray
- Common on tile and glass, and time-consuming to clear.
- Occupied or vacant
- Working around a family in a partially finished home takes longer.
- Timing relative to trades
- Cleaning before trades finish means doing it again.
